High-end starting pitcher meet in in the 4:10 p.m. ET matchup as Hunter Brown is on the hill for Houston and Joe Ryan gets the nod for Minnesota. Oddsmakers are expecting a lower-scoring game with the over/under at 7. In what should be a tight matchup without a lot of offense, the model gives the edge to Ryan and the Twins. Ryan has a sparkling 2.93 road ERA and he faced a slightly less potent Houston lineup that is missing Yordan Alvarez (hand) and potentially Isaac Paredes, who missed Friday's game with a hamstring concern. The Twins win in 49% of simulations, making them the value play at plus money.

Over 8.5 in Yankees vs. Red Sox (-112)

Boston won Game 1 by a 2-1 margin on Friday, as the Under 8 easily hit in that one. Last week's series, however, was an offensive showcase, and that's more of what the model is expecting in Game 2. The teams combined for 15, 17 and 18 runs in that recent series, going Over in all three games. The model is projecting 10.4 runs in this matchup, clearing the total in well over 60% of simulations.
